Face Cards

Danielle and Aryeh experiment with creating a face in order to convey emotion. You can give the children small mirrors, say a word of emotion each time and ask them to show it. Later you can take pictures of the children, print and make “face cards” of the kindergarten children. With the cards, you can summon various activities:

Choose a card each time and try to imitate the face.

Spread out all the cards and invite each child to choose a card that describes what they are feeling.

Randomly choose one card and try to compose a sentence that describes what preceded the emotion.
