Falleaves found his own way to feel wonderful. What does it mean to feel wonderful? You can discuss this and ask – what made Falleaves feel this way? When do we feel this way? What helps us feel this way?
You can be inspired by the rich illustrations in this book to draw a large and detailed family drawing together. You can then play the searching game – take turns choosing a detail for everyone else to find. For example: “Where is the red shoe hiding?”
You can delve deeper into the illustrations in small groups, in which each child holds his own copy. You can reconstruct the story with the illustrations, let the children look for small details they identify and compare – what is in the kindergarten in the illustrations, and what is in our kindergarten? What similar details do we find?
You can measure your toddler’s height and make a chart where you record it each time., Alongside their height, you can write down things that your toddler can do with hiss/her body. Each time you measure their height, you can remind your toddler what they can now do, and which new things they learned. When they will grow up, they will have a wonderful memento.
