The Ark

By: Raaya Karas • Illustrations: Raaya Karas

The animals in the ark are angry – someone dared to open the window and now water is coming in. But who was it? Each animal blames the other, until the truth is revealed, which teaches that opening the window may be scary, but there is also hope.

Age Group: Preschool (4-6)

Despite the pouring rain outside, the pigeon dares to open a window. Her courageous action emphasizes the importance of taking action and finding ways to change the situation. The pigeon teaches us that alongside natural fear there is hope, and this gives us the strength to act out of faith in the good that will come.
