You can create a family collection of beautiful things together. Choose a permanent place in the house; during the day, everyone will be able to place things they found and thought were beautiful – an old object that you suddenly noticed its color, a special stone from the yard, or even a dry leaf that you think is beautiful.

Each member of the family is invited to write or draw one beautiful thing that he finds in another person in the house, for example: “The beauty of my father is the funny songs he invents” or “The beauty of my sister is that she happily lends me toys.”

You can take a short walk in the neighborhood or in the garden, and bring a piece of paper and a pen or a camera. Each person will write down or photograph three things that he found beautiful and three things that he found “unpretty.” When you are finished, you can compare: Have you discovered something that is beautiful to one eye and not to the other?
