How will theyboth manage to get across the bridge without falling, or shoving each other off the edge? The resolution these two creatures come up with illustrates the advantages of thinking creatively and collaboratively in situations where there are conflicting desires.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u201cBetter a patient person than a warrior\u2026\u201d (Proverbs 16:32)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">This verse from the Book of Proverbs teaches that it is preferable to be moderate and judicious than to be strong and forceful. Those who are \u201cslow to anger\u201d control themselves and remain unruffled and deliberate in expressing their views, even when they find themselves in conflict with others. Contrast this with a hot-tempered warrior, who tries to control others by force and to emerge the winner in every encounter.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">At first, the bear and the giant each tried to have his own way\u2014insisting on crossing the bridge without giving the other any room to pass. But once they calmed down and gave their situationmore careful and creative thought, they realized that a peacefulresolution would benefit them both.
