אורנית דהאן גננת גן נוגה באשדוד סיפרה שהילדים קיבלו משימה הביתה. היה עליהם לבחור אחד מהחגים היהודיים ולצרף לו מתכון שאותו הם נוהגים להכין בביתם והכנו מזה ספרון מתכונים של הגן.

משתפת הגננת תמנע רז מגן שקד בקיבוץ הזורע: “ביקשתי מההורים שכל משפחה תכתוב לנו את המתכון של האוכל שהכי אהוב על המשפחה ותכין אותו לכל ילדי הגן. כך יצרנו מחברת מתכונים של הגן וגם טעמנו את כל המאכלים הטעימים של המשפחות. היה מצוין!”

לנעמה ערבה אבנד, גננת גן קשת בירושלים יש בגן ילד שאבא שלו שף ובעל מסעדה ולשמחת כולם הוא נענה להזמנתה להגיע לגן, ולספר על העבודה שלו. האבא הביא לכל הילדים כובעי טבח והילדים נהנו מאוד להכין איתו ספינג’ (עוגות מרוקאיות).

בגן שקד בקיבוץ גשר הזיו שיתפה הגננת אור בובי סגל את משפחות ילדי הגן בפעילות הבאה: “כל משפחה קיבלה דף לכתיבת מתכון משפחתי מאחד החגים וכן חוויה שזכורה להם. הדפסנו וערכנו את כל המתכונים המשפחתיים, כרכנו אותם והגשנו ספר מכובד הכולל את מתכוני משפחות הגן לחגים. המשפחות קיבלו את הספר ביום המשפחה.”

הגננת הילה גלבנדורף מגן סביונים בקריית ביאליק מספרת: הספר “טעם של חג” הגיע לקראת חג החנוכה. הילדים הכינו בגן בעזרת המתכון שבספר לביבות תפוחי אדמה וסיפרו שבבית הכינו לביבות עם ההורים. לאחר מכן הקראנו את הסיפור “נר דולק מנר” ולמדנו על נתינה.

כתבה לנו הגננת טובה גיגי מגן שיבלים בעין השלושה: ” טעם של חג, איזה ספר נפלא. תודה!!! הכנו את הלביבות בגן עם המתכון האורייני של הספר, עוד לפני שהצגנו אותו. במסיבת החנוכה שלנו עם ההורים, לאחר הדלקת הנר הראשון בחנוכייה, הזמנתי את המשפחות ל”טעם של חג”. עברנו וחילקנו באופו אישי את הספר לכל ילד כשמאחוריו יושב ההורה הפעיל, הקדשתי אותו באופו אישי, לעיני הילד רשמתי את שמו ואיחלתי לו הנאה מרובה עם הספר, החבר החדש לימים ארוכים. סיפרתי את הסיפור בפני הקהל הגדול בזמן שעיינו בו, חוויה מרוממת וחגיגית. אכן, “כל זמן שהנר דולק אפשר עוד לתקן”, סיפור אידי מרגש וחם. הילדים יצאו מהמסיבה העליזה עם הסביבון ודמי החנוכה והחשוב מכול הספר, חבר חדש וערכי. תודה!”

נעמה ערבה אבנד וילדי גן קשת בירושלים התכבדו בביקור של שף: “הזמנתי לגן אבא של אחד הילדים שהוא שף ובעל מסעדה .הוא סיפר על העבודה שלו, הביא לכל הילדים כובעי טבח והכין עם הילדים ספינג’.”

ואילו ילדי גן שקד מקיבוץ גשר הזיו, בראשות הגננת אור בובי סגל, הפיקו ספר מתכונים של משפחות הגן: “כל משפחה קיבלה דף לכתיבת מתכון משפחתי מאחד החגים וכן חוויה שזכורה להם. הדפסנו וערכנו את כל המתכונים המשפחתיים, כרכנו אותם והגשנו ספר מכובד הכולל את מתכוני משפחות הגן לחגים. המשפחות קיבלו את הספר ביום המשפחה”.

וילדי גן לכיש ברמת בית שמש הביאו את מטעמי הבית לגן. כתבה לנו הגננת נאוה אדמוני: “הכנו בגן את רולדת הפירות לכבוד טו בשבט. בעקבות המתכונים הילדים הכינו עם הוריהם בבית תבשיל שהם בחרו והביאו לגן”.

הגננת מורן עוזיהו, גן דרור מושב יתד: “ספר מדהים. קראנו הרבה מהסיפורים. המחזנו ובעיקר לקחנו את הסיפור ליום המשפחה. הכנו ספר מתכונים: כל משפחה הביאה מתכון וגם כתבה על ההווי המשפחתי סביב בישול בפרט ופעילות משותפת בכלל”.
